Signposts is seeking to recruit a team of people to help provide a weekend and holiday programme of activities for Young People with additional needs in the Lancaster District

Job Purpose:

To work with young people with additional needs to access positive activities and to provide short breaks for carers. To support young disabled people to participate in positive activities, learn new skills and meet new friends. To ensure the safety of the young people attending the sessions and to meet their individual needs.

Hours : as and when required in blocks for weekend activities which are fortnightly and for half term activities - we hope to recruit a bank of staff to operate a rota

Salary :

Unqualified/inexperienced: NJC APT & C scale 2 pt 12 (£8.26 per hour)

Qualified/experienced: NJC APT & C scale 4 pt 16 (£9.03 per hour)

Qualified/experienced Team Lead level: NJC APT & C scale 4 pt 20 (£10.14 per hour)

Appointment will be subject to an Enhanced CRB Clearance and two references.
