Signposts AGM - Thursday 24th July at Tanterton Community Centre, PrestonDear Colleague Please find below an invitation to the Signposts AGM to be held on Thursday 24th July at Tanterton Community Centre, Kidsgrove, Tanterton, Preston, PR2 7BX. The format is the same as last year which proved to be very popular as it gives people a chance to find out more about Signposts from the team. I do hope you will be able to attend. Invitation to become a member of Signposts and information for members Anyone wishing to join Signposts as a member should complete a Membership Form and this should be returned by 12noon on 9th July in order for membership to be approved by the Signposts Board which is meeting that evening. Members who have joined Signposts prior to the forthcoming Board Meeting will be entitled to vote at the AGM or via a proxy. Anyone who submits an application after 12 noon on 9th July or on the night will not be entitled to vote as their application needs to be approved by the Signposts Board at a meeting of the Directors. Members will receive pen portraits of potential Directors by 17th July for their consideration prior to the AGM in accordance with our Memorandum and Articles of Association. Invitation to become a Director of Signposts Anyone wishing to join Signposts as a Director should complete a Directors Application Form and return by 12noon on 9th July to allow consideration at a meeting of the Board of Directors that evening. The Memorandum and Articles specify 14 days prior to the AGM as the deadline for this, which in effect is Thursday 10th July. Applications can therefore be received up to this time but it would be much appreciated if people could submit for consideration at the board meeting on 9th July. Forms for both Membership and to become a director are available to download Looking Forward - Anticipate the Future Signposts AGM on Thursday 24th July 2008 at Tanterton Community Centre, Kidsgrove, Tanterton, Preston, PR2 7BX Transport will be provided where booked in advance from 58 Regent Road Morecambe, leaving at 5.30pm, with a pickup at Carnforth Our Lady of Lourdes Hall at 5.50pm and returning to Morecambe at approximately 9pm. We are keen to support people to attend. Please contact if you require individual assistance other than the above. For anyone who will not have been able to have tea, you can order a pre-packed light snack either for collection on the bus or at the AGM.
