Venue Details
Signposts is the base for the Information and Advice service, and the management and administration of the whole service.
To enable Signposts to undertake its duties it has been equipped to a high standard with the provision of computer equipment and internet access, a telephone in each room, Mincom, fax, photocopier, binder and laminator. Other agencies who use the building, voluntary groups and individuals can access these facilities and in some cases a small charge is made to pass on the actual costs.
The design of the building means that it can be put to a variety of uses. It has:-
- Two Reception Areas for Information and Advice Work and administration
- A kitchen
- A meeting/training room for a maximum of 16 people
- 1 small counselling/interview/meeting room
- 1 medical/interview room
- 1 office
- 1 store
- 1 cleaners store
- 1 toilet with baby changing table
- 1 adapted toilet and shower
Facilities as described above allow private rooms to be used for confidential consultation or for use by local groups and organisations as a base to provide a local point of service, for small meetings and to serve as a non-stigmatising base from which contentious issues may be dealt with i.e. sexual health, drugs and childcare issues.

Venue Details
The Community Shop is a base from which Community Groups, Credit Union,
and community Police and Fire Services can offer surgery space to enable
the community to access them easily. It is also a base for Work With Young
People.
