Detached Youth Work – Preston

Our Sessional detached team currently go out in Farringdon Park in Preston every Wednesday evening. They regularly meet with up to 20 young people during an evening and they discuss a wide range of issues with the young people they meet. One of the main issues is alcohol and drug usage by the young people who live in the area.

The team have been working in the area since April 2007 and are steadily building up relationships with the young people and local community in the area.
