Signposts Preston
Signposts Preston - A City Wide Service for Children, Young People and Families.
Signposts Preston now has two office bases situated in Ingol and Farringdon Park .
The Ingol office, ‘Family Links' is situated within Ingol CP Primary School, Whitby Avenue, Ingol, Preston. It has been part of the school for over 2 years and is now well established in the community. The office is open Mon–Fri from 9am–4pm and is a ‘drop–in' Information and Advice Service. We have a Full –time Manager; a part-time Family Support Worker and an Administrator working from the premises as well as numerous Volunteers who help with the day-to-day running of the service.
Family Links receives referrals from a range of multi-agencies ie: schools; police; health; education welfare; GRIP; social services. Home Visiting is available and a Confidential service is guaranteed.

The Farringdon Park Office, ‘Community Links' is a recently acquired premise. It is situated within the Farringdon Park Community Centre, Thirlmere Rd. Preston. It is primarily used as an office for Administration and as a meeting/training venue. We also wish to support the Community Centre in its work in the area.
Signposts Preston also offers Information and Advice from ‘Outreach' Venues – see our leaflet (download)
Young People's Work - A bi-monthly newsletter is produced from Family Links and is distributed across the Preston Area for Young People. It encourages young people to access ‘low-cost' activities in the Preston area.

A GUIDE TO USING FAMILY LINKS.
This booklet provides guidelines for everyone using the project and the buildings, enabling the project to operate as easily, safely, and co-operatively as possible. By reading this booklet everyone that uses or wishes to book, space in the building should know what is available to them and what is expected of them.
