We are Signposts Services

Signposts Services transforms the lives of ordinary people in Staffordshire through the radical help of other ordinary people. We believe in radical hospitality through partnerships.

Our Story

The background to Signposts Services, Staffordshire.

Since 2006 we have focussed on projects for local people of all ages to increase access to opportunities; develop skills; connect people together and so improve general well-being and health.

As Signposts Services has grown and changed over the years we have been extremely grateful for all the staff and volunteers who have helped so many people and walked with us through the changes.

2020 is a year that none of us will forget due to Covid-19.  For Signposts Services the year brought many changes.  We merged with the Stafford based charity Rising Brook Community Projects enabling a number of key projects to be added to Signposts Services. This has enabled us to broaden our reach by delivering services from Rising Brook locations across Staffordshire. The building at Highfields, now run by Rising Brook, has become one of the number of buildings from which to deliver services.

We are looking forward to the next chapters of our history. Through all the changes, we remain totally committed to our values of Dignity, Accessibility and Integrity.

We continue to provide a range of community based services that Improve health and well-being, reduce the negative effects of poverty, reduce social isolation and support families.

Our aim is always to deliver these services with kindness and compassion in an environment where all are able to feel valued and safe.

Going forward, we will continue to model social responsibility and provide people with opportunities to build their skills, confidence, aspirations and resilience to strengthen our communities.
