Help with PIP renewals

A gentleman came to our Information and Guidance team who was having problems regarding his PIP renewal.

He had initially been denied the renewal which was causing upset and difficulties. Our team leader helped him and started looking through his paperwork. We thought that we might have to fight this all the way to tribunal, which has been our experience in the past, but we were encouraged to receive a call from him to say that he was awarded his PIP. The renewal of PIP normally needs to occur every few years but due to our intervention and support, our client not only received PIP but was informed that he would not need to renew this for 10 years giving great peace of mind and stability in his life.
